When I was 5 years old, we had an old tape recorder with a small hand held mic that my sister and I played with.    We took turns inventing song-stories.  She sang 30 second ditties. My recordings, on the other hand, went on and on, it was hard to make me stop.

As I sang, I would imagine myself on stage, singing the blues…

Now I am an Independent recording artist.  I have been writing since I was 10, singing since I was 17, recording demos since 1999…many, many demos…and now I am finally releasing my first CD called Double Entendre

So what kind of music do I do and what do I sound like?…

Well, I write in different styles and sometimes I mix them up.  I write all my lyrics and 99% of the music and I really just want to sound like me, but here goes…

If you like lyric based alternative, folk, jazz, blues…if you like word games and innuendos… the music of Holy Cole,  Ani DiFranco, Leonard Cohen, Damien Rice or Francis Cabrel, you will enjoy Double Entendre.

The CD Release Party was on April 9th at the Blue Chair Restaurant in Edmonton's trendy Southside. It was standing room only, the food was great and a good time was had by all.
