AN INTERACTIVE MUSICAL EXPERIENCE (School Concert)
Beyond workshops, Ariane offers school concerts that transcend simple musical performance to become true moments of exchange and human connection. In a coffee-house or songwriter circle style, inspired by songwriter circles from folk festivals, she presents her original songs by weaving stories between them that directly touch the reality of young people.
A UNIQUE APPROACH
Ariane authentically dialogues with her audience, creating bridges between her compositions and the students' universe. She often begins her concerts with surprising discussions: "Who here likes Brussels sprouts? Who hates them? And pizza?" This playful approach leads her to explain that certain music is like Brussels sprouts - not for everyone - while others are like pizza - universally appreciated, like pop music!
Between her songs, she addresses deep themes with simplicity: "Do you think it's possible to be happy even if our best friend decides not to be our friend anymore?" This question opens a discussion about the importance of taking responsibility for our own happiness, preparing the listening of her songs inspired by this subject.

According to the room configuration, Ariane adapts her approach. With a good sound system, she circulates through the crowd with a microphone between songs, creating physical proximity before returning to the stage. For smaller groups, the atmosphere becomes more intimate, almost like a café conversation, where each exchange naturally feeds into the next song.

- Stage space adapted to group size
- Basic lighting (if available)
- Chairs, bleachers or mats for students when the show takes place in a gymnasium
FRANCOPHONE MUSIC APPRECIATION WORKSHOPS (All ages)
These immersive workshops transform musical discovery into an enriching cultural journey, opening participants' horizons to the richness and diversity of global francophonie through its music.
Ideal for French Immersion or for French classes.
Two formats are available.
1: FRANCOPHONE MUSIC ESSENTIALS
2: FRANCOPHONE MUSIC FROM HOME
1. Francophone Music Essentials - A Musical Journey:
Ariane guides participants through a captivating overview that crosses eras, from timeless legends like Jacques Brel and Édith Piaf to modern classics such as Jean Leloup, including new releases that are sure to become modern day classics. This exploration allows understanding of the evolution of francophone music and its multiple influences.
An Inclusive and Personalized Approach:
Recognizing the diversity of our current communities, the workshop encourages sharing personal experiences. Participants are invited to present francophone artists and songs that have marked their own reality, thus creating a rich intercultural exchange that celebrates francophonie in all its forms - from Quebec to Africa, from France to the Canadian prairies.
Active and Interactive Discovery:
Through carefully selected audio excerpts and representative video clips, participants explore different musical genres: traditional chanson, francophone rock, rap, world music, contemporary folk, and much more.
Ariane facilitates discussions on themes, styles and cultural contexts, making each discovery meaningful.
Tools For Musical Autonomy:
The workshop concludes with the transmission of concrete leads and practical resources allowing participants to continue their exploration according to their personal tastes: specialized streaming platforms, francophone festivals, community radios, and emerging artist networks.
Objectives:
Develop lasting appreciation for francophone musical diversity while strengthening the sense of belonging to this living and dynamic cultural community.
Ideal number of participants:
Flexible according to space, up to a complete class to encourage collective exchanges.
