These workshops require a few minutes between groups to clean and prepare the room. Traditional plasticine projects require the least preparation time.
Ideal number of participants: Up to 25 participants depending on available space.

A tactile and three-dimensional approach that allows participants to create unique works while developing their fine motor skills and spatial imagination.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

These workshops offer much more than a simple artistic activity: they are real personal development tools that equip young people for life.
Empty your bag - The inner wolves (All ages)
Therapeutic three-dimensional plasticine canvas on canvas: This innovative workshop combines expressive writing and visual art to help participants explore and transform their emotions. Students begin by writing a personal letter or list expressing their current fears, frustrations or concerns - a letter or list that no one else will read.
After a discussion about the difference between the "stories we tell ourselves" and real facts, they symbolically tear up their letter to let go of negative emotions. They then create a 3D artwork representing a positive element in their life, using plasticine, pipe cleaners, feathers and other creative materials.
"We had a very beautiful experience during the workshop with Ariane Mahrÿke Lemire. My children and I learned a lot about how to express our emotions through art and to accept them as they are. The plasticine was a very pleasant way to relax as a family." – Participant in the 3D canvas workshop, Ontario
The portrait - Therapeutic three-dimensional plasticine canvas (All ages)
Participants write a personal letter or list expressing what bothers them about themselves or someone else - their perceived flaws, their irritants, their judgments or their relational frustrations. This confidential letter or list will not be read by anyone else. They then take stock of the good things they appreciate and which will become a source of inspiration for creating the work.
Transformation Phase: Group discussion about the difference between our critical perceptions and reality, as well as the importance of recognizing our biases followed by the writing exercise (this will be done in drawing for younger ones).
Creation Phase: Participants create a portrait or self-portrait in 3D plasticine that represents what they like and appreciate about themselves or about the person mentioned - their qualities, their strengths, their unique beauty. They can use plasticine, pipe cleaners, feathers, skewer sticks and other creative materials to bring this positive vision to life.
Sharing Phase (optional): Sharing circle where each participant can present their portrait and explain the qualities they chose to celebrate, thus fostering a caring perspective towards oneself and others.
Objectives: Develop self-compassion, transform critical gaze into appreciation, and create a work of art that honors human beauty in all its forms.
REVEAL YOUR INNER UNIVERSE - SELF-PORTRAIT IN COLLAGE AND PAINTING (All ages)
Painting, wax crayons, collage workshop - Mixed media: This workshop explores pictorial technique further and uses materials often already available in schools (watercolors, brushes, wax crayons, paper), making the workshop accessible and economical. It's a workshop that combines creativity and introspection in a simple and accessible way.
For long sessions, students will trace the outline of their bodies and transform it into a personal map of everything that makes them vibrate. Their passions, their dreams, what makes their life extraordinary... everything goes in!
For shorter formats, we focus on reduced-scale self-portraits, but with the same emotional intensity.
Educational Objectives:
Learning mixed techniques (watercolor + wax)
Fine motor skills development
Exploration of colors and textures
Work on observation and representation
Personal Benefits:
Strengthening self-confidence
Better self-knowledge through art
Creative expression of their personality
Moment of reflection on what motivates them
The Practical Advantages:
Everything is done with basic materials you probably already have: watercolors, brushes, wax crayons, paper. Economical and efficient.
In the end, your students create something personal while developing their artistic skills.
